Non-repellent Insecticides for Ant Control

When choosing an insecticide to use against ants, there are two types to choose from: Repellent insecticides and non-repellent insecticides. Non-repellents are the overwhelmingly popular choice these days, and with good reason. Ants can’t detect these “invisible” insecticides and, therefore, readily crawl through them. As these ants return to the nest, they are unknowingly tracking the insecticide with them and transferring it to their nest mates. Over time, this eliminates all of the ants including the queen. While this method is slower than some, it usually results in complete eradication of the ant colony.

Spray around the foundation of your house and other entry points such as around doors, windows and exterior openings such as where electrical or cable wires connect.

Navigator SC and Taurus SC Insecticides are the top choices for liquid non-repellent insecticides for ant control.
